The Museo Omero’s talking and online magazine.
First published in December 2014, “Aisthesis, discover art through all the senses” our talking and online magazine is issued every four months and provides in-depth discussion on the theme of perception with philosophical, scientific, psychological but also technical articles.
The magazine immediately aroused great interest because it was efficacious in raising public awareness of issues relating to art and multisensory perception, especially the sense of touch.
The project, which is edited by the Associazione Tattile Statale Omero ONLUS, collaborates with distinguished speakers who contribute valuable articles to the magazine, which is translated into English by Simon Jarvis and into Spanish by Pedro Zurita. In previous years, various people lent their voices for the magazine’s audio recordings but now the recordings are by the actor Luca Violini.
You can read the texts of the articles on the site, listen to the talking version in mp3 or download the complete pdf of the magazine.
