Museo Omero Educational services 2011 – 2012

Servizi Educativi 2011 - 2012 There are numerous new activities this year.

Mole Vanvitelliana, Banchina da Chio 28 - Ancona

Our learning service staff have organised new workshops for families and children. These are inspired by the "Piccole Biennali" Marche exhibition being hosted by the Museo Omero in their new premises at the Mole Vanvitelliana. The workshops will be held on the last Tuesday of each month from August to November: 30 August, 27 September, 25 October, 29 November, from 6 - 8 pm. The exhibition is fully accessible to blind and partially-sighted people thanks to the generosity of those artists who have given permission for their works to be touched. Museo Omero staff have prepared Braille translations of all the information provided about the works. The accessible workshops offer children and adults a new approach to contemporary art and use the theme of the body as their starting point. Booking is essential. Activity costs 5 Euros per person. Workshops for groups of at least 15 can be booked on Saturdays and Sundays. Free for disabled people.
