A tactile experience in the dark.
Reservations required. Limited seating.

The renovated Contemporary Space of the Museum is home to the Booh! Gallery, a new permanent exhibition where art can be explored with the hands, in the mystery and magic of darkness.
The first activity, Il buio di Booh! (The Darkness of Booh!), is an engaging experience suitable for all ages, where participants, guided by expert staff and a narrator, will embark on an immersive journey where touching becomes thinking and imagining.

The Gallery was born from the evocative Grotta degli idoli (Cave of Idols) created for Enzo Cucchi's exhibition L'ombra vede, now transformed into a unique exhibition space. Here, touch becomes sight and the sensory experience is transformed into a journey of discovery.

Inside the six-metre-long and three-metre-wide space, three works from the Omero Museum collection, carefully chosen by the staff, await exploration through the concentration of the senses. They are linked by a logical and poetic thread to be guessed and resolved with the hands.
The name Booh! plays with darkness and surprise: it is the exclamation that accompanies wonder, curiosity and even a hint of fear. It is an invitation to trust the sensory experience and let yourself be amazed by a new, intimate and profound way of experiencing art.

Activity cost: €5. Free for persons with disabilities and their carers.
Reservations required: 335 56 96 985 (telephone and WhatsApp).
