Museo Omero: a model of accessibility

Aldo Grassini, President of the Museo Omero, talks about the uniqueness of the Museum, its international collaborations and what it can export.

The video opens with background music and a view of the earth from space. The camera zooms in to show Italy, then Ancona and finally the Mole Vanvitelliana: the magnificent, 18th century, pentagonal building that houses the Museo Omero. The words Touching beauty - Toccare la bellezza are superimposed on the images.

Aldo Grassini's presentation is accompanied by a series of images of the collection, people exploring our sculptures, architectural models and design objects, photos of our international collaborations as well as of the typhlo-didactic workshop where relief reproductions of paintings and tactile books are made.

The video opens and closes with the Museum logo and the titles and credits.
