The June missions of the Omero Museum

Also in June, the Omero Museum is actively participating in major national initiatives to promote cultural accessibility, education, and dialogue among museums, professionals, and citizens.

June 5–6: “Art, Wellbeing, Culture – The ABCs of Accessible Museums”

A national conference focused on museum accessibility, health, and wellbeing through culture.
Annalisa Trasatti, Coordinator of Services at the Omero Museum, will give a talk on:
“Accessibility begins with hospitality. The Omero Museum’s experience in training.”

June 11: "Tactile Museums: Experiences, Tools, and Perspectives"

As part of the seminar organized by the University of Pisa, Aldo Grassini, President of the Omero Museum, will give a lecture on museum accessibility.

June 19: Dicolab – Culture Goes Digital Training

Within the “Dicolab – Culture Goes Digital” project, Annalisa Trasatti and Monica Bernacchia, Head of the Museum's Communication Department, will lead a training workshop for cultural and museum professionals, focused on:

  • Accessible and inclusive digital content: techniques and tools for creation and management.
  • Accessibility begins with hospitality: digital tools as a gateway to real museum experiences.
